Louis Vuitton2003s Murakami Rift Bag

Q: What size is the Louis Vuitton Murakami Rift Bag, and what can it hold?
A: This bag measures approximately 15 x 14 x 4 cm, so it is best suited to compact daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick and a few small personal items. It is a small, hands-free style rather than a large everyday carryall.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: Yes. The Rift is designed as a slim shoulder or crossbody bag, and this example has an adjustable strap with an approximate drop of 50 cm. Fit can vary depending on height and preferred styling, but it is intended for easy hands-free wear.

Q: Does the Louis Vuitton Rift have any extra pockets?
A: Yes. The Rift style is known for its compact main compartment and practical front exterior pocket, which is useful for slim items you want to reach quickly, such as tickets, notes or cards.

Q: What makes the Murakami Rift special?
A: The Rift is part of the celebrated Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami era, a collaboration loved for its playful, collectible take on the House monogram. Murakami pieces remain especially sought after by collectors thanks to their distinctive look and limited-period production.

Q: What does the serial number TH0095 indicate?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes from this period are commonly used to show where and when a bag was made. The code TH0095 is generally interpreted as a France-made piece from September 2005. As with all vintage Louis Vuitton, the code supports dating but should be considered alongside the overall construction and details when assessing authenticity.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is rated Very Good condition. The exterior shows rubbing on the print, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product images carefully for the most accurate impression of wear.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Murakami canvas bag?
A: Clean the coated canvas gently with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products, oils, perfume and abrasive rubbing. For storage, keep the bag in a breathable dust bag away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight. Gentle handling is especially important for printed areas and leather trim on vintage pieces.

Q: Can Louis Vuitton repair a vintage bag like this?
A: Louis Vuitton does offer repair services for many leather goods, although repair availability depends on the specific item and the type of wear. Vintage and pre-owned bags may still be considered, but the Maison will normally assess the bag first before confirming whether a repair can be completed.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This bag comes with a dust bag, as listed in the product information. If something is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.
