Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Epi Plage Lagoon Bay GM Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 40 x 30 x 18 cm, the GM size is roomy enough for daily or holiday essentials such as a wallet, phone, sunglasses case, water bottle, book, small toiletries pouch and a light layer. It works especially well as a spacious day tote.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This style has dual flat top handles and an approximate drop of 19.5 cm, so it generally sits comfortably on the shoulder or in the crook of the arm, depending on your frame and what you are wearing.

Q: Is the Lagoon Bay GM lined or secured with a zip?
A: No. This model features an open top and an unlined interior, which gives it a lightweight, easy-to-reach tote feel. It also includes a detachable matching pouch for smaller items.

Q: Does this bag come with the pouch?
A: Yes. The product information for this item lists a pouch, and this model is known for its detachable matching pouch that helps keep small essentials organised.

Q: Is Epi Plage the same as regular Epi leather?
A: Not exactly. Epi Plage is a special Louis Vuitton material with a vinyl or PVC-like body embossed with the signature Epi texture, finished with leather trim and gold-tone hardware. It has a lighter, more summery look than classic all-leather Epi pieces.

Q: Is this bag transparent?
A: Epi Plage bags are known for a translucent, beach-inspired look. Depending on the colour, lighting and how the bag is packed, some of the contents may be slightly visible, so many owners use the pouch to keep smaller items tucked away.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Epi Plage vinyl bag?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products, abrasive rubbing and prolonged direct sunlight or heat. For storage, keep it lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag or other ventilated space so it can better hold its shape.

Q: What does the date code CA0031 mean?
A: CA indicates production in Spain. In Louis Vuitton's older four-digit format, the numbers show the month and year, so CA0031 corresponds to March 2001.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: This piece is listed in very good vintage condition overall, with light traces of use. The exterior shows some smaller marks and stains, the interior has minor scratches and marks, and the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches.
