Dimensions & Specifications

Size

One size

Q: What size is this specific item?
A: This particular item is listed as one size. Because knit caps can fit differently depending on head shape and personal preference, we recommend checking all available product information and imagery carefully if you are unsure about fit.

Q: Is the fit structured or flexible?
A: This style generally has a softer, more flexible fit than a rigid cap because of its knit construction. That can make it comfortable for everyday wear, but the exact feel will vary from person to person.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What style of hat is the Louis Vuitton Woolgram Cap?
A: The Woolgram Cap is a soft, knit luxury cap with a sporty everyday look. It is designed to offer warmth and comfort while featuring Louis Vuitton signature detailing for a recognisable designer finish.

Q: What size is this specific item?
A: This particular item is listed as one size. Because knit caps can fit differently depending on head shape and personal preference, we recommend checking all available product information and imagery carefully if you are unsure about fit.

Q: What colour is this cap?
A: This listing is for the cap in grey.

Q: What condition is this cap in?
A: This item is in Very Good Condition with light traces of use noted. As a pre-owned piece, minor signs of wear are to be expected, so we recommend reviewing the product images closely for the best impression of its current state.

Q: Is this cap suitable for colder weather?
A: Yes, this style is designed as a warm knit cap, making it a good choice for cooler autumn and winter days. It is best suited to casual wear and light cold-weather use rather than heavy outdoor performance use.

Q: How should I care for a wool-blend Louis Vuitton cap?
A: Handle it gently and avoid unnecessary friction, moisture, perfume, oils, and harsh cleaning products. For best results, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight, and use specialist knitwear or luxury garment cleaning advice if deeper cleaning is needed.

Q: Does this item come with anything extra?
A: No. This item is listed with no accessories. Please refer to the product information section for what is included with this specific piece.

Q: Is the fit structured or flexible?
A: This style generally has a softer, more flexible fit than a rigid cap because of its knit construction. That can make it comfortable for everyday wear, but the exact feel will vary from person to person.

Q: How can I tell this cap is authentic?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is checked for authenticity by experts. Authentication is based on a combination of factors such as materials, construction, stitching, labels, branding details, and overall consistency with the model.

Q: Is this a good everyday luxury accessory?
A: Yes, the Woolgram Cap is a practical everyday luxury piece. Its understated shape and signature Louis Vuitton detailing make it easy to pair with casual outerwear, knitwear, and smart-casual winter looks.
