OmegaDe Ville 34mm 2005 Watch

Q: What model and year is this Omega De Ville?
A: This is an Omega De Ville watch from 2005, reference 4310.11.00. Its country of origin is Switzerland.

Q: What size is the watch?
A: The case diameter is listed as 34 mm. This offers a compact profile for those who prefer a smaller watch; compare it with a watch you already wear to help judge the size.

Q: Will the bracelet fit my wrist, and can it be adjusted?
A: The bracelet is listed as fitting an 18 cm wrist or smaller, and one spare link is included. A watchmaker can help adjust the bracelet. If your wrist is larger than 18 cm, please ask for confirmation of the maximum fit with the spare link fitted.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: This pre-owned watch is in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, the internal condition is rated Very Good, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is this watch quartz or automatic, and does it need winding?
A: OMEGA identifies reference 4310.11.00 as a quartz watch powered by calibre 1532. It runs on a battery rather than an automatic movement, so it does not require winding. The remaining battery life of this particular watch is not specified.

Q: Is the watch entirely made of gold?
A: No. OMEGA specifies a combination of stainless steel and yellow gold for this reference, with a steel-and-gold bracelet. It also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, although this is not scratch-proof.

Q: What comes with this watch?
A: The product information lists a warranty card, a pictogram card and one spare bracelet link. A box is not listed. The presence of a warranty card does not by itself confirm that the original manufacturer's warranty remains valid.

Q: Can I wear this watch while swimming or showering?
A: OMEGA lists an original water-resistance rating of 3 bar, or 30 metres, for this reference. However, the current water resistance of this pre-owned watch is not confirmed in the product information. Keep it out of water and remove it before swimming or showering unless a qualified watchmaker has tested it and confirmed suitable use.

Q: Has this watch been serviced, and how should I maintain it?
A: A service date and battery-replacement history are not provided; the Very Good internal condition rating is not a service record. Ask for any available maintenance history, and use an OMEGA authorised service centre or qualified watchmaker for battery replacement and servicing. OMEGA recommends annual water-resistance checks and generally advises a complete service every five to eight years, depending on use and conditions.
