PomellatoM’ama Amethyst 18Kt Ring, Size 52

Q: What size is this Pomellato ring?
A: This ring is a Pomellato size 52. In practical terms, that is generally considered around a UK size L 1/2 to M, though fit can vary slightly depending on ring shape and personal preference.

Q: What materials and stones does this ring feature?
A: This piece is crafted in 18kt rose gold and features a central cabochon amethyst with pavé diamond accents. The cabochon cut gives the amethyst a smooth, rounded look rather than a faceted finish.

Q: Is this ring comfortable for everyday wear?
A: Pomellato rings are widely appreciated for their wearable fine-jewellery styling, and this design can work beautifully for regular wear. As with any gemstone and diamond ring, we recommend a little extra care during hands-on activities to help protect the stone and setting.

Q: Can this ring be stacked with other rings?
A: Yes, it can be worn alone as a statement piece or paired with other fine rings for a layered look. Because the centre stone is raised and rounded, the fit next to another ring may depend on the shape and height of the other band.

Q: How should I care for an amethyst and diamond ring like this?
A: Clean it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaning, or abrasive products unless a professional jeweller advises otherwise. It is best to store it separately to help prevent scratches to the gold, diamonds, or gemstone.

Q: Is the ring resizable?
A: Resizing may be possible, but it depends on the exact construction of the band and the placement of the stone and pavé details. We recommend consulting an experienced jeweller familiar with fine gemstone jewellery before making any alterations.

Q: What condition is this ring in?
A: The ring is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: What is included with the ring?
A: This item includes a box. Please refer to the product information for the full included set, as only listed items are included.

Q: How do I know this ring is authentic?
A: At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted for authenticity by specialists who assess key details such as materials, craftsmanship, hallmarks, and overall construction. If you would like additional reassurance before purchase, you are welcome to contact us for more product-specific information.

Q: What makes a cabochon amethyst ring different from a faceted amethyst ring?
A: A cabochon amethyst has a smooth, polished dome rather than multiple facets, so it highlights colour and softness instead of sparkle alone. In a Pomellato design, this creates the bold, sculptural look the house is especially known for.
