CelineTriomphe Rhinestone Charm Bracelet

Q: What is this bracelet made from?
A: Céline fashion jewellery is typically crafted in brass with a plated finish (gold or rhodium/silver tone) and set with crystals/strass. This vintage charm bracelet features a silver-tone finish with red enamel and rhinestone accents. As a vintage piece, exact alloy composition can vary; it is not solid sterling silver or solid gold.

Q: Will the 17.2 cm length fit my wrist?
A: As a guide, chain/link bracelets usually fit comfortably when they are about 1–2 cm longer than your wrist measurement. At 17.2 cm, this bracelet typically suits wrists around 15.5–16.5 cm, depending on whether you prefer a snug or looser drape. Measure around your wrist bone with a soft tape for best results.

Q: Is the length adjustable?
A: As a chain-link design with a clasp, you can usually fasten to an earlier link for a slightly shorter fit. If you need extra length, a jeweller can add a discreet extender chain. We do not modify items prior to shipping.

Q: How should I care for the rhinestones and enamel?
A: Keep the bracelet dry and avoid soaking or ultrasonic cleaners. Many vintage rhinestones are foil-backed, so moisture can dull them. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear, avoid contact with perfume, lotions and hairspray, and store separately in a pouch to minimise scratches to the enamel and plating.

Q: Some stones are missing—can they be replaced?
A: Often yes. A professional jeweller experienced with vintage costume jewellery can source and set replacement rhinestones, though perfect colour and cut matches are not always possible. Avoid DIY glues, as they can discolour foil-backed stones. This piece is sold as described and priced to reflect its current condition.

Q: Will the silver-tone finish tarnish or wear off?
A: Plated brass can show surface wear with use, especially at high-friction points. To prolong the finish, remove the bracelet before bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping, and wipe it clean after wear. Store in a dry place, away from humidity and direct sunlight.

Q: I have sensitive skin—will this cause a reaction?
A: Many costume jewellery alloys are brass-based and may include trace nickel in some vintages. If you are nickel-sensitive, limit wear time, keep the piece dry, and consider using a clear barrier product on contact areas. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs.

Q: What does the Triomphe motif signify?
A: The Triomphe emblem traces back to the early 1970s and was inspired by the interlinked chains surrounding Paris’s Arc de Triomphe. It is a longstanding Céline house code that has been reinterpreted in recent collections.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information section on this page. If an item such as a box, dust bag or care booklet is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bracelet?
A: Every piece is examined by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, plating, construction, hallmarking and logo typography, stone setting, and period‑correct design details. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to provide further details on request.
