ChanelJust Mademoiselle Bowling Bag

Q: What size is this bag, and what typically fits inside?
A: This Maxi Just Mademoiselle Bowling Bag measures approximately 33 × 27 × 14 cm. It is well suited to everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a make-up pouch and a small tablet or notebook. Capacity can vary depending on how you organise your items, so please use the listed measurements as your guide.

Q: Can it be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This bag has dual chain-link shoulder straps with an approximate strap drop of 22 cm, so it is designed to sit comfortably on the shoulder for most wearers.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody?
A: No. With its dual shoulder straps and approximate 22 cm drop, this style is intended to be carried on the shoulder rather than across the body.

Q: Will it fit A4 papers or a laptop?
A: Slim A4 documents may fit thanks to the 33 cm width, but the bowling shape and opening can make bulkier folders or larger items less practical. For laptops, we recommend comparing your device directly with the listed measurements before purchasing.

Q: What are the main design details of this piece?
A: This example features brown quilted leather, silver-tone hardware, dual chain-link shoulder straps and a red fabric lining. It is also marked as a vintage Chanel piece and was made in Italy.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful wear.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This piece includes the items listed in the product information: authenticity card and serial number. If an item is not listed in the product information, it is not included.

Q: When was this bag made?
A: The serial number range on this bag corresponds to approximately 2010 to 2011, which is consistent with its vintage character.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: To help preserve the leather and shape, avoid overfilling, prolonged sunlight, humidity and contact with dark or colour-transfer fabrics. Store it upright, lightly stuffed, and with the chains protected from rubbing when not in use. Use only a soft cloth for gentle cleaning and seek a specialist for deeper treatment.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully inspected for authenticity using detailed checks of materials, craftsmanship, hardware, stamps and serial details. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
