Full‑size tablets are not recommended; a mini tablet may fit without a bulky case depending on orientation and how you pack.

Q: Are the straps adjustable and what are the lengths?
A: The shoulder strap provides a comfortable on‑shoulder drop for daily wear (approximate strap length 43 cm on this piece). The fabric belt strap is adjustable to suit different waist sizes. If you prefer a different drop, you can attach an alternative compatible strap.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: How can I wear this convertible Baguette?
A: This 2020 Selleria Baguette can be worn on the shoulder with the leather strap, around the waist as a belt bag with the fabric strap, or carried by hand as a clutch with the straps removed. Everything included is listed under product information on this page.

Q: What typically fits inside?
A: With approximate dimensions of 26 × 16 × 12 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys, sunglasses in a soft case and a few small essentials. Full‑size tablets are not recommended; a mini tablet may fit without a bulky case depending on orientation and how you pack.

Q: What does Selleria mean and what leather is used?
A: Selleria refers to Fendi’s traditional hand‑stitched construction inspired by Roman saddlery. Selleria bags are typically crafted in durable, grained Cuoio Romano leather with visible saddle stitching that ages beautifully with use.

Q: Is the magnetic flap closure secure and safe for my cards/phone?
A: The magnetic clasp keeps the flap securely closed during normal use. Modern chip‑enabled cards and smartphones are generally unaffected by bag magnets; to be safe, avoid pressing a card’s magnetic stripe directly against the clasp for prolonged periods.

Q: How should I care for the Selleria leather?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use, keep the bag away from water, oils and prolonged heat or direct sunlight, and store it loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag to maintain its shape. Avoid overfilling to prevent stretching of the leather and stitching.

Q: What is the difference between the Baguette and the Mamma Baguette?
A: The Mamma Baguette is a larger, more practical iteration of the classic Baguette, offering a deeper profile and extra capacity for everyday items while keeping the iconic east‑west flap silhouette and FF clasp.

Q: Does this bag have a serial code or RFID tag?
A: Many modern Fendi bags include an internal serial code and, for certain years, a hologram or RFID tag. Placement and format vary by season. As a trusted retailer, A Retro Tale authenticates every item through multi‑point inspections of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and codes.

Q: Is this style unisex?
A: Yes. The clean Selleria leather finish and versatile strap options make this Baguette easy to wear across personal styles and genders.

Q: What exactly comes with this item?
A: Please refer to the product information section on this page for everything included with this specific piece. If an item such as a dust bag or box is not listed there, it is not included.
