Louis VuittonEpi Twist PM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Epi Twist PM?
A: Thanks to its cleverly designed wave-shaped base, it comfortably carries a smartphone, compact wallet or cardholder, keys, and a few small cosmetics. A slim sunglasses sleeve may fit; bulky cases or large pouches reduce capacity. For exact sizing, please refer to the Measurements on this page.

Q: Can I wear it cross-body as well as on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The sliding chain strap can be worn long for cross-body or doubled for a shorter shoulder carry. The leather shoulder pad adds comfort for extended wear.

Q: Will an oversized smartphone fit?
A: Most standard smartphones fit. Larger “Plus/Max” models may fit without a bulky case, but snugness varies by model—compare your phone to the listed Measurements to be sure.

Q: How does the LV twist-lock work and how can I minimise scratches?
A: Rotate the LV to open and close the flap. As with any polished metal, light hairline scratches can appear with normal use. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces, keep the chain away from the lock when storing, and wipe hardware occasionally with a soft, dry cloth.

Q: What are the benefits of Epi leather and how should I care for it?
A: Epi leather is a textured, dyed-through calf leather known for durability and good resistance to light rain and scuffs. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners, oils, or alcohol; keep away from prolonged sunlight/heat; and store loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag. On light colours, minimise contact with dark denim to reduce colour transfer.

Q: Is the strap adjustable or removable?
A: The chain strap adjusts by sliding so you can wear it long or doubled. On this version it is not designed to be removed. Please see the Features section for strap details.

Q: What does the date code SP4185 mean?
A: It indicates production in France in the 48th week of 2015, based on Louis Vuitton’s date-code format used during that period.

Q: Do newer Louis Vuitton bags still have visible date codes?
A: From around March 2021, Louis Vuitton started phasing out visible date codes in favour of embedded microchips. As a 2015 piece, this bag bears the classic stamped date code noted above.

Q: What accessories are included with this specific item?
