Louis VuittonPalm Springs PM Backpack

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs PM Backpack?
A: The Palm Springs PM is a practical everyday backpack that offers more space than the Mini version without being bulky. It comfortably holds daily essentials such as a large smartphone, a continental wallet, a cosmetics pouch, keys, a 500 ml water bottle and a sunglass case. It can also accommodate a standard iPad or an 11-inch tablet. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for specific dimensions.

Q: Will a 13-inch laptop fit inside?
A: No, a standard 13-inch laptop is typically too tall and wide to fit comfortably inside the PM size due to the bag’s rounded shape and dimensions. It is better suited for tablets (e.g., iPad Air or Pro 11-inch) and A5 notebooks.

Q: What is the "Infrarouge" Monogram?
A: This specific model features the Monogram Infrarouge canvas, a striking red and black variation of the classic Monogram print. Originally introduced around 2016, this limited seasonal finish gives the backpack a bold, sporty and streetwear-inspired aesthetic compared to the traditional brown canvas.

Q: Are the straps adjustable and comfortable?
A: Yes, the Palm Springs PM comes with two padded calfskin leather shoulder straps. They are adjustable to suit different heights and carrying preferences. The foam backing in the straps provides extra comfort for all-day wear, making it supportive even when the bag is full.

Q: Is this bag considered unisex?
A: While originally designed as a women's bag, the Palm Springs PM—especially in this edgy black and red Infrarouge colourway—is widely considered a unisex style and is a popular choice for anyone seeking a compact, hands-free luxury bag.

Q: How secure is the closure and what pockets does it have?
A: The main compartment is secured with a double zip closure. For organisation, it features an exterior front zipped pocket (ideal for keys or travel cards) and an internal slip pocket at the back of the main compartment.

Q: What is the interior lining made of?
A: The interior is lined with a durable khaki/green textile (nylon) that is lightweight and easy to clean.

Q: How should I care for the Monogram Infrarouge canvas?
A: Coated canvas is robust and water-resistant. Clean it by wiping gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or rubbing the print against rough surfaces. The black leather straps and trim can be maintained with a neutral leather conditioner applied sparingly. Store the bag upright in a breathable dust bag away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Q: What condition is this specific item in?
A: This piece is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The silver-tone hardware is shiny with only light scratches, and the external and internal materials are well-preserved. Please review the detailed condition rating and photos on this page for a closer look.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This item is sold as the bag only and does not include a dust bag, box or other accessories. Please check the “Accessories” section on this page; if an item is not explicitly listed there, it is not included.
