Q: What fits inside this Chanel CC Patent Chain Tote Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 33 x 21 x 11 cm, this tote is best suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, cosmetics and a small notebook. It can also accommodate other similarly sized items, but we recommend checking the Measurements on this page for the best guide to capacity.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This style features chain-link and leather shoulder straps with an approximate handle drop of 26 cm, making it suitable for shoulder carry.

Q: Does the bag close fully?
A: This bag has an open top with a central zip compartment. That means the centre section zips closed, while the outer sections remain open for easier access to everyday items.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: According to the product information, it is crafted from black quilted patent leather with silver-tone hardware and a black textile lining.

Q: Is patent leather durable for everyday use?
A: Patent leather is appreciated for its glossy finish and structured look, but it does require mindful use. It can show surface marks, colour transfer and scratches more easily than some grained leathers, so it is best handled with care and stored properly when not in use.

Q: How should I care for this patent leather Chanel bag?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after use and avoid harsh cleaners or products that may affect the finish. Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, moisture, heat and dark fabrics that may cause colour transfer. Store it upright and lightly filled to help maintain its shape.

Q: Is this bag considered vintage?
A: Yes. This piece is sold as vintage, and the serial number range provided in the product information dates it to around 2012 to 2013.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag as included. If any other item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is listed as Very Good Condition. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is this a good work or day bag?
A: Yes, for many buyers it works well as a smart day bag thanks to its tote shape, shoulder straps, protective feet and organised interior layout. It is spacious enough for everyday essentials, though it may be too compact for larger laptops or bulky work items.
