Louis VuittonMulticoloured Floral Fabric Bead Tie Necklace

Q: Is this Louis Vuitton Necklace authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What materials is it made from?
A: This statement necklace is a piece of costume jewellery crafted from fabric‑wrapped beads featuring a multicoloured floral print. It is strung on a cream‑coloured textile strap and finished with gold‑tone metal hardware at the tie ends. It does not contain precious stones or solid gold.

Q: How do I fasten the necklace? Is it adjustable?
A: The necklace features a self‑tie fabric closure. This allows you to fully adjust the length by tying the ribbons at the back of your neck. You can wear it high as a choker or lower as a statement piece depending on your outfit.

Q: What are the measurements?
A: The total length (perimeter) of the strap is approximately 140 cm. The adjustable tie mechanism means one size fits most, and the generous length allows for a secure bow or knot.

Q: What hallmarks should I look for?
A: On this style of Louis Vuitton fabric jewellery, the designer signature is typically engraved on the gold‑tone metal tips (aglets) at the very ends of the fabric ribbons. Please check our close‑up photos to view these details.

Q: How should I care for the fabric beads and strap?
A: Fabric jewellery requires specific care. Keep it dry and avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and make‑up, which can stain the textile. Do not machine wash. If cleaning is required, we recommend consulting a dry cleaning specialist for delicate vintage textiles.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
A: The primary contact point with the skin is the fabric strap, which is generally gentle and comfortable. However, the metal ends are gold‑tone alloy and may contain nickel. If you have severe metal allergies, ensure the metal tips hang over clothing or away from direct skin contact.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This necklace is in Very Good Condition with light signs of wear possible, such as minor fabric aging, unless noted otherwise. It includes no accessories. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions.
