Louis VuittonNomad Bucket PM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Nomad Bucket PM Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 26 x 23 x 15.5 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and other small necessities. It is a practical everyday size, but it is not designed for a laptop. Please refer to the Measurements in the product information for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This model is designed for shoulder carry with dual adjustable shoulder straps. The handle drop is approximately 15 cm and can be adjusted for a better fit. It is not intended as a crossbody style.

Q: Is the PM size considered small or medium?
A: PM is Louis Vuitton’s smaller everyday size designation on many models. On this bag, it gives you a compact bucket silhouette that still offers useful room for essentials without feeling oversized.

Q: Does this bag come with any included items?
A: Yes. This piece comes with a pouch and a dust bag. Included items are listed in the product information; if something is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for the Nomad leather?
A: To help preserve the leather, keep it away from oils, perfume, cosmetics, alcohol-based products, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. For light surface marks, use only a soft, slightly damp cloth, and if the leather gets wet, blot it straight away with a lint-free light-coloured cloth. Store the bag in its dust bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q: Are watermarks and scuffs normal on vintage Nomad leather?
A: Yes. Nomad leather is prized for its natural look, and vintage pieces often show watermarks, scuffing and surface character over time. On this specific bag, visible watermarks, scuffing, stains, scratches and dents are already noted in the condition report, so please expect authentic signs of age and use rather than a like-new finish.

Q: What does the date code AR0919 mean?
A: The code format indicates that this bag was made in France, and AR0919 corresponds to January 1999. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, a date code helps indicate age and place of manufacture, but it is only one part of a full authenticity assessment.

Q: Do bucket bags need extra organisation inside?
A: Many collectors find bucket styles easiest to use when smaller items are grouped inside a pouch, as the bucket shape can otherwise feel less structured. This bag already includes a pouch, which is useful for keeping essentials tidy and easy to find.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted for authenticity by luxury specialists. Checks typically include materials, construction, hardware, stamps and date-code details so you can shop pre-owned with confidence.
